West Lake Christian Church Disciples of Christ

"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.
The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.
Do you believe this?"  John 11:25,26

We are a fellowship of Christians who desire to do God's will and enrich our lives through study, worship, and fellowship. Then through service we reach out to the community and beyond.  We have been richly blessed and want to share God's love with you.  We welcome all who come to worship with us, no matter where you are in your faith journey, no matter what your struggles or difficulties, no matter what your background.  God loves you and so do we.

...is to serve God as we bear witness to the life, death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the first commandment.  And a second is like it:  Love your neighbor as yourself."      (Matthew 22: 37-39 NIV)

And by carrying out the GREAT COMMISSION

Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always to the end of the age."  (Matthew 28: 18-20 NIV)

WHAT TO EXPECT:  Friendly folks who are eager to share God's love.  Each Sunday the sacrament of Communion is offered and we welcome all Christ believers to the Lord's Table.
