West Lake Christian Church Disciples of Christ

"The Word became flesh and make his dwelling among us.
We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,
who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38,39

                                                 Doris Yates

Services will be held at West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, MO, on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Doris is already being missed by her church family.  She did so many things, working quietly, but effectively putting her creative talents to work throughout the church. Always with a ready smile, she used her pre-retirement work skills as treasurer for CWF, and with Pat Roberts, coordinated the work of the crafters while they prepared for the annual CWF craft sale.  The church is full of her floral arrangements, but this is only a small part of the activities she was in charge of and/or participated in. We extend our sympathy to Bob and their family.  You can read the obituary by clicking on the link below.
